still cold a night

Right now...

 + musings about Milan Kundera + reading Gabrielle Hamilton.

1. I started with the glass full to the brim, and now my face turned as red as the Bud logo. I didn't know the workings of beer alcohol on me differ from brand to brand. My usual take is Cass or Hite but Bud, you make me more than blush. Glad to be alone at the moment... Oh wells. 

2. M83 - haven't enjoyed M83 much since I got this album, in MP3. But the music is perfect for the moment.

3. It was maybe an unwise thing to stuff too much of Kundera into one single month, especially the month being the most transient one of the year February. More to follow on this.

4. I kept running into this lady, Gabrielle Hamilton, all over the place, the places where I indulge my food-borne curiosity. Apparently, her recent book has made a big hit, and it seems that she knows how to write, too. Write well, I mean. I'm dying to buy a paperback copy of this, which was released a few weeks ago, but I'm holding onto my pledge and for the moment making do with articles written by her as available online.
